Who would believe it that the
Smurfs are 50 years old? I'm not a Smurf lover,
neither have I ever even owned a Smurf; but I
do, however, like the idea and the graphic
design behind the whole thing. Nice one Smurfs.

Ever wondered what a truly global
flag would look like? Nor me, but I came across
a
great little web site that has calculated
the proportions of colour used on the flag for
each country in the world. The image here is an
amalgamation of all of the flags and the
proportion of colours used in them. Try and
guess the country before you click on a flag.

Apple

I recently placed an order at the
Apple Store online. When I check the progress of
my shipment I notice that this section of the
store displays a favicon which looks like the
Netscape logo. This seems pretty peculiar to me
and a tad inconsistent on Apple's part. I know
most people don't look at favicons much, but if
someone's bookmarked this section, it'll look
odd in the list. Minute and probably not really
worth mentioning, but everyone's gone to bed and
I've no one to talk to... not as though they'd
be interested either. Time I got some sleep. I
also notice that Apple haven't updated their
Timed-out screen on the store to fit in with
their new look.

remember seeing them on
Diggnation probably over
